The HARMAN Phoenix II is the second generation of HARMAN’s colour film, representing a complete redesign of the original Phoenix.
Every layer and component has been re-engineered from the ground up, featuring a brand-new emulsion with new dyes, new couplers, and an experimental layer structure that delivers an improved shooting experience.
While less bold and unpredictable than its predecessor, Phoenix II retains the distinctive character that makes analogue photography so rewarding, producing vibrant images with a unique film aesthetic.
Enhanced contrast, finer grain, and improved sharpness help preserve shadow and highlight detail while offering greater exposure latitude. For the best results, accurate exposure is still recommended.
Scanning performance has also been significantly improved, providing better results with default scanner settings. Final image characteristics may vary depending on the scanner used, making every roll an opportunity to experiment and embrace the creative nature of film photography.
Phoenix II is DX-coded with a box speed of ISO 200 and performs best when exposed between EI 100 and EI 200.
